Double A cut his teeth in the Drum 'N Bass world before it was a well known genre. We get a glimpse into the early days of that side of the music industry, DJing before the internet and social media as well as becoming a lame adult and how to fight it. Double A also recorded an AMAZING retrospective Drum 'N Bass set recently that you can hear on Mixcloud.com/TheDJDoubleA. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sarin during our (DJ Jazzy Jeff) NYE gig at the Northern Bass Festival in Auckland, New Zealand. Her team provided some essential glue to keep the festival running smoothly but also maintained a very family-like vibe. We stayed in contact and had some great conversations about gigs, festivals, the entertainment industry in general and more. She's got 183 job titles and is a total badass. Get your learn on!

"I worked my after school job. I worked way too many hours and got horrible grades to take every penny I made, all throughout high school to go spend it on records." I honestly can't think of one thing in the world of DJing that Trayze DOESN'T do. He's an extremely well rounded DJ, a producer of remixes and original music, a DJ instructor and a 2x world-finalist battle DJ, amongst other things. We rap about his story, the DJ scene and living through the Covid19 lockdown. Stay home, wash your hands and tune in! (please excuse some less-than-stellar audio at times, we were also doing some livestreaming and it got hectic)

It's weird how good the DJs in Canada are. I remember getting mixes and edits from The Freshest and the Eh! Team and being blown away. Nick Bike started out DJing on 2 computers running Windows Media Player and now sits perfectly alongside Canada's finest. We discuss figuring your DJ career out as you go, making edits that have ended up in most DJs crates and knowing when to (and when not to) retire songs.

Case Bloom's journey to his current position as a staple in the Nashville music scene was a long and windy one. We discuss his tenure in the super dope music market of Philly, building parties that have lasted 12+ years, gentrified foods and of course, the current state of DJing. Case is also the man behind amazing DJ (and non-DJ) bag company Tucker & Bloom (great story). Listen up and if you're in Nashville, do and eat what Mayor Case tells you!
